Greetings everyone,

I am wondering if anyone can help, I submitted requested docs to the embassy and reply came back is below;

"We are ready continuing processing the case and it is therefore requested to submit the following documents via courier as soon as possible.

1- Police Certificate from UK covering period time applicant lived there.

2- Member of Household ********** 2009-2011 tax receipt and legal status.

3- Member of Household ********* 2009-2011 tax receipt and legal status.

4- Member of Household ********* proof of legal status"

Well, I already submit 1.5 months ago original birth certificates for sponsor also I have sent Police Certificate last year to them and they didn't mention it in their last short-docs checklist. Also can anyone advise what tax receipts they need hance option one is disabled claiming and 2- not working since a year but option 4 is making $49,500/year submit to the embassy and they accepted.

Can anyone please advise i am really confused.

1/ Police certs are usually good for a year, so it looks like yours "expired" and you need a new one.

2-4: are these beneficiaries, ie people who want to immigrate, or financial sponsors? If the first, are you interviewing in the country of citizenship or elsewhere?

Bye: Penguin

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Thanks for your reply Penguin,

Well, as far as written on the UK police Cert, it has no validity and shows that when I was staying at UK in that time period I don't have any trace or criminal record. I am currently living in Pakistan and I already sent updated police cert in Sep this year.

2 and 3 are the household members of my wife and one of them is claiming learning disable benefits while other is not working since a year now. 4th one is currently employed earning nearly 50k so i guess we are ok with the financial stuff as embassy accepted those.

The matter is, I already submit original Birth certificates for all of them, they were born in the US and i guess US birth cert means they are citizens.

My first question is whatelse embassy need from us to show that all household members are US citizens if they don't accept original US Birth Certificates?

Second question, what tax transcripts we need from tax office for a person who is not working since a year and a learning disable person who is claiming benefits in the US?

I hope you got my questions :-)

Not sure on the birth certs. Did you send it at the same time as the updated police cert in September? if so, they may not have gotten the package as they ask for both. You could try sending photocopies of their US passports if they have one.

Did the household members file taxes? if so, get tax return transcripts from the IRS. If not, have them write a short, one paragraph letter as to why they were not required to file and sign it.

This all seems odd to me though- household member 2 (disabled) and 3 (unemployed) are clearly not financial sponsors, so why should they need tax returns and birth certs at all?The embassy should not be interested in them at all. Did you get them to fill in I-864a forms or something?

That is right it is really confusing, embassy asked me to sign I-864a for all household members which includes them 2 as well and now they are asking their stuff etc.

I already provided them SSI (Supplemental Security Income) letter from IRS this year but still not enough for them. I guess I should write them a letter explaining household member 2 circumstances. Should I get them to sign I-864a again?

For household member 2 we can get old W-2's i guess but the main question can i provide them copy of a driving permit/license?
