DS230 & James Shortcuts

I need some guidance from anyone who's already gone thru the CR1 DS230 with the NVC.

I called the NVC and found out they've processed my IV Fee, so I'm assuming the DS230 will be generated next monday (based on what the James Shortcuts say).

Question: Where does the DS230 get mailed to? The applicant (myself) or the sponsor/agent (my husband)?

Also in the James's Shortcuts it says that in most cases only Part I needs to be filled out, UNLESS you are from Canada in which case you might have to fill out some of Part II.

(Generally, your spouse will only need to fill out and sign part I because he or she will be sent part II by the embassy when the interview appointment is given. However, if your spouse is from Canada, the Philippines, China, an African country, or two or three other countries for which NVC arranges the interview, your spouse may have to fill out -- but not sign -- part II. This DS-230 shortcut is primarily designed for those who only have to send in a DS-230 Part I. You should find out from a VJ member whose spouse is from the same country as yours exactly what is required.)

I'm going on vacation from Nov 10-Dec 3 and I'm worried I won't be home to get the DS230 which is why I would like to use the Shortcuts if possible....

:help:

Angela

I've got the barcode, so I'm good there
