my fiancee lives in Ussuriysk, eastern tip of Russia, neighbor to North Korea :x

and of course, the only embassy in that entire country is in the western tip, 9000km away.

anyway, i'm gonna go visit her family in Ussuriysk so they don't think i'm some american creep trying to kidnap and badly harm their child. then, she and i will fly over to Moscow for her interview.

SO! the question: can they not give the visa+passport on the spot? or, is it true i am supplying them with my own return envelope? because if the latter is true, can't i have that package mailed to the hotel where we will be staying? ...i don't want to have to fly the both of us back to Ussuriysk just to pick up a little booklet.

OR~can i just ask that they mail it to my hotel?
