Chinook and I don't live in the Bremerton area, but we've visited a few times over the years. There are actually lots of Filipinos who live in the area, and there are a few good Filipino restaurants and Filipino grocery stores.

There's a good turo turo ten minutes away from you in East Bremerton. It's called Barrio Fiesta. It's across the street from the Post Office. The original owners are Filipino and they just retired, but some family members took over the restaurant and they remodeled it. The food is still good and a lot of Filipinos eat there. Also, there's a good tindahan next door to the Barrio Fiesta.

Lin's Teriyaki in East Bremerton is a pretty good sit-down restaurant which has a lot of Filipino dishes. It's family owned and operated by Filipinos and you will find some Filipinos eating there. They serve some American food too, so you will see some 'kano eating there. Lin's:http://www.yelp.com/biz/lins-teriyaki-fish-and-chips-bremerton#hrid:v9_-bgKih5dyeaVxIYOppA

I wish you the best of luck in meeting some kabayans.star_smile.gif
