Hello to all,

Lovely site. Very helpful and a great aid.

Although we have been planning for the K-1 all along, I am only now assembling my package (I-129F).

On one of my previous visits to see my fiancee, we completed her G-325A form. That was September 2011.

So the form with her signature is dated September 17, 2011. Is that going to be a problem? I mean it was just over a year ago.

I can't find anything on the USCIS site indicating that the date and signature must be more current.

Have any of you sent a G-325A that was signed and dated a year before you submitted your package with the I-129F petition?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Although there's nothing on the USCIS indicating about current date, it is still advisable to have it dated much closer to the time they will receive your package. What we did was I signed all the docs I need to sign and he wrote all the dates prior to sending.

Tricky question: It will be up to USCIS in Dallas or/your assigned Service Center. You are within the guildlines of the 2 year requirement. It should be fine. Do remember though and sometimes does'nt matter. LOOK at the lower right hand corner at the bottem of the Form for an Expiration Date of that Document.

I agree with the above post to aquire a new one. It's a choice you have to make before sending. I do doubt it will be denied since you will be sending accompaning proof of a currant relationship with your Petition. I personaly, would again: Get a New One.

There is no guideline for this, it is important the information be accurate, not so much the date on the form. IF you decide to use this form then I would attach a letter explaining it and explaining that the information is still current. In the meantime prepare a new one in case you get an RFE anyway.

OR just get a new one. Your call.
