Delivery of Visa- how long? (Venezuela)

It will be 3 weeks tomorrow that my fiancee's visa was approved. She then paid their fee and dropped off the number that they gave at the embassy that has one part staying with the passport and the other half going to DHL. How long does it take those chowderheads to deliver a simple visa? She only asked for it to go to their nearby office and not to her residence. There has been no contact whatsoever from them- no emails and no calls! She said they didn't give her any paper receipt. I say fire DHL!

That is a long time! Are yoiu sure DHL has the passport, and it is not still with the embassy?

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

I think her visa is still with the embassy as is mine :bonk: 3 weeks is way too long! For me, it's been 8 days since my interview and I was told I'll get mine within 7 days. But even till today, I have NO sign of my passport. I should be getting a text message/email from the consulate when they mail my passport and when it arrives at the drop off location. But I still haven't heard anything from them. I called up the support yesterday and they said immigrant visas take longer to process, which is a dumb excuse. If they really look longer, then why tell me I'll get mine within 7 days?

Thank you Penguin_ie and LH&me- I guess it was with the embassy. I was going to call them, but then she got a call from DHL last Thursday or Friday and picked up the passport today. With the passport/visa is an envelope that is supposed to remain sealed until she gets to the US. Also, they told her to bring her x-rays with her. Are these requests normal? Thanks
