For anyone else wanting to know when people's actual visas arrive via courier, Peter was interviewed last Friday in London for a CR-1, and the courier brought his visa today, the following Thursday. 6 days - 4 business days. Phew. So fortunate. "Your mileage may vary." kicking.gif

My Fiance's interview was last Friday, Nov. 2nd. I called the DOS today and they said his Visa was issued on Wednesday. But, DX tracking has no record of his tracking number. Did anyone else use their tracking system, if so, was it reliable? I am a little concerned that since my fiance lives in Cumbria, his visa delivery will be delayed. Anyone from northern England have any insight?

I attended my interview on the 9th (Friday), I was originally expecting to receive it by the following Friday (5 business days). Now I'm a little worried. The embassy may have been closed on Monday for Veterans day? Adding a day to the delivery?

When I track it on DX secure I get "Sorry, this combination of tracking number and postcode do not correspond with our records. Please check and try again." so presumably it hasn't been issued yet. I have a flight booked for Sat 17th some time ago, am I likely to make it or should I change now?

We got the same message, it came to his house on Monday. You can call the department of state in the US and they will tell you if the visa has been printed. 202-663-1225. It took 6 days for our Visa to arrive in Cumbria. The Courier web site posted and estimated arrival on Thurday night of Monday. Hope this helps....you might be pushing it with a Saturday flight!

Hi there! My interview was last Friday too - 9am. I was there until 12.30 pm - what was your experience like? I can confirm that Monday was definitely a holiday for the Embassy - the Chinese American who interviewed told me that. One of my friends on here said today that her husband was interviewed on Thursday, the day before us, and he got his visa yesterday despite the holiday! You just never know - its how long is a piece of string. I spoke to the courier company and they said that the message you refer to (re number and postcode not matching) simply means they have not yet received the package from the Embassy. Maybe the 17th is a bit tight but you could hear tomorrow that your visa will be delivered on Friday. My best guestimate, for what its worth, would be Monday 19th but it really is just a guess. Good luck! Let us all know when you get your visa and I will too so we can compare notes.

LATEST UPDATE - first thing today on courier website nothing was showing but suddenly at 11.30 am it said that my visa would be delivered on Monday 19th - HURRAHHHHHHHHH!

Shockable (on here) had her interview the same day as me and hers was due to arrive today before 10 am. At 12 pm it still hadn't arrived!! I really hope she's got it now.

Do you think that all this terrible waiting and stress could be some kind of horrible initiation test so that if you don't give up you're deemed fit to live in the States   ?? Only joking!!
