I'm a Danish citizen married to an American and we have a child together. If we apply for a spouse visa for me to move to the States, it can take up to 10 months before it hopefully gets approved. Realistically, what are the chances that they will let me and our child entry into the States to visit while the application is being processed?

Thanks!

I visited the US once during the process. Although I was with my wife, we were living abroad. We had no problems entering the US though.

Please fill out a timeline when you have a chance, it helps everyone :)

You can visit the United State under the ESTA (http://denmark.usembassy.gov/non-immigrant_visas/visa-or-esta-.html). You should have evidence of strong ties to Denmark to prove that you are truly visiting and not intending to migrate (stay) in the US when you visit.
