We are both confused as we send money to a friend in the states who made money order on our behalf to NVC AOS bill,she mailed the money order last week and today it shows paid on NVC payment portal but without activated reciept or the barcoded stuff,what can this be ? anyone had this problem before ? please share your experience and advise.

we are living abroad together,i guess the mail goes to usc address.can't it be activated online ? so we could print it and send our Aos package at once

Yes once you can log in, just print the receipt and bar coded sheet out, put it on top of your docs,and get it in the mail!! Waiting on the snail mail will take forever!

The above response is not true about your situation... You cannot print the barcode sheet online if you make payment by money order... However, if you provided your email address and that of your hubby's email address to nvc, then they will email you the barcode sheet... Don't ever worry trying to print this thing because you simply can't...

Dear Petitioner:

Your Affidavit of Support fee payment has arrived at the National Visa Center (NVC). To continue

processing the visa petition that you filed on behalf of name****, f****S you, the

petitioner, must go to the Department of State website www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and follow the

instructions displayed.

After reading the instructions, download, complete, and submit the appropriate Affidavit of Support

form. You must send the appropriate completed Affidavit of Support form and required supporting

documents, to the NVC.

If E-Mail Processing is required or has been chosen by the principal applicant for this case you must

scan the Affidavit of Support form and all required supporting documents, and send them by e-mail to

NVCElectronic@state.gov.

If E-Mail Processing does not apply to your case you must submit the physical form and documents with

the enclosed case number barcode sheet in the enclosed envelope to:

National Visa Center

ATTN: CMR

31 Rochester Avenue, Suite 100

Portsmouth, NH 03801-2914

The case number must be clearly written in the subject line of every e-mail and in the upper right hand

corner of each page of all documents. Failure to write the applicant's case number on any documents

will cause a delay in processing.
