I might be posting this in the wrong place, sorry about that.

Im now a Conditional Permanent Resident and I just got my card on the mail. I went to social security and they gave me a number and I also changed my name so I could have my husbands last name.

My question is, do I have to change my name too in my permanent resident card? if yes, how do I do it?

thanks!!!!!

When you renew your green card for the 10 years one, send a copy of your marriage certificate and put your last name as your marital last name (the new one). If you want to you can call the 1800# for USCIS, and ask what to do. Good luck and congrats.
