I would think all is good up to now. Your case has no RFE (s). Have your Fiance' bring supportive legal documents to the interview if it becomes an issue which is doubtful, but you never know. If this is the only issue you are worrying about then supply proper evidence. I'm sure you'll be OK about this small mishape. Honestly, The I129-F focuses on the Petitioner and the Beneficiary to start and then progresses to minors and your File was looked at to include all in the Petition. Have you Fiance' ready to supply any/as much information in paper. I think your OK...

Hello VJers,

When I initially filed the I129F paperwork, I filed my fiance's child's name incorrectly. I corrected the spelling with the paperwork to the US Embassy. Do you think this is going to cause us any problems? His interview is next month at the Embassy.

What was the outcome of this? I just realized that the I-129f petition I filed has the wrong middle name for my fiance. I thought it was his father's name which is Joseph, but its actually John.

10/10/2013 - Called DOS and got NVC case number (no notifications to say it had been sent)

10/11/2013 - NVC sent case to consulate

10/31/2013 - DS 160 Application submitted and sent to the embassy via post11/06/2013 - Fiance has medical

12/16/2013 - Embassy Interview, Approved!

06/04/2014 - POE Seattle SEATAC airport

07/05/2014 - I-485 and EAD received

08/29/2014 - Advance Parole approved

09/05/2014 - EAD approved

07/02/2015 - I-485 denied

07/17/2015 I-290b MTR sent in
