Greetings to all member of VJ! :)

Is it okay to fill up DS forms even though we're still waiting for the NOA2?

Thanks. :)

It's okay to pre-fill any immigration forms in advance of their submissions. This way you get to review your entries thoroughly before you actually submit them. Insure that you pay attention to the "required documents". In most cases, original documents are required and in some instances copies are sufficient. You can not save your typed information on the DS forms, so you can either print it or convert the document into a /.pdf or other scanned forms.

Filers are actually encourage to prepare all these forms in advance: I-864 including other versions, and DS forms, etc.

Thank you so much sis. Yes, I printed them using Adobe Reader. And I already get the other documents that need to be attach later on e.g CeNoMar, Police Clearance, NBI Clearance. Just need some original papers from my fiance. I-864, do you mean I-134? Are they the same?

Thanks and God bless. Xoxo. :)

NO they are not the same, but they are all forms that involve "Affidavit of Support". I-864 is used for immigrant petitions, while I-134 I believe involves fiance non-immigrant visas.

Always be ready with your forms and documentations. Your timeline would get resolve a lot faster if you're always ready.

I see, thanks! My fiance will send me all his original documents including I-134 after he receives our NOA2. :)

DS forms could be done ahead of time and I-134 could be post dated and ink signed as close to the expected date of your interview. CO would like to see it as current as possible.

Good luck!
