I recieved my green card in the mail today WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SO HAPPY THE FEELING IS AMAZING opening the mail and seeing my green card it looks nice!!! GOOD LUCK YA'LL

Congrats! It states on your timeline that it took a year from the time you filed until you received your green card and that you had an RFE. Can you please share what kind of evidence they wanted in the RFE?

2011-01-26: Interview - APPROVED! (7 months, 4 days)
2011-02-02: Visa issued and in hand!
2011-02-25: POE - JFK (New York City)
2011-03-14: Received Conditional Green Card
2011-04-01: Received SS Card
2012-03-25: Our son is born!

YES SURE.. well my case was kinda different they requested evidence because i was abused so they wanted proof of that abuse and i didn't have it, I told them I don't have it and they actually beleived me BECAUSE I'M TELLING THE TRUTH!!! I sent them pictures of my house that my husband lied about (ANIMALS WON'T ACCEPT TO LIVE IN) I wrote my whole story in my own words and what he did to me and what his family did, all I did IS JUST I WAS HONEST WITH THEM DIDN'T LIE ABOUT ANYTHING.. then on my interview that i had a month ago with them the lady was very nice i showed her my divorce papers that i'm filling for divorce and she took a copy of it a week later i recieved the approval letter and now i got my green card. :) :) :) :) :)
