I received my NOA2 about a week ago. Should I go ahead and prepare the affidavit of support now and mail it to my fiance? Does it matter if let's say my fiance gets the interview in a month and a half, but the I-134 is dated for today?

Also, Should I also send my fiance my intent letter? that I intend to marry her once she comes to the USA?

And #3, whats the difference between forms DS 156 & DS 156K? Those will be received by my fiance from the US embassy correct? Does she have to fill out both letter? The DS 156K lists out some of the items which she will need to bring to the embassy. Are those all the items she has to bring? Is the "evidence of financial support" referring to the form I-134 I will send her??

Thanks for any help guys!

No matter, it's OK.

Yes both of you should have signed new letters of intent and bring to the interview.

And #3, whats the difference between forms DS 156 & DS 156K? Those will be received by my fiance from the US embassy correct? Does she have to fill out both letter?

Yes

The DS 156K lists out some of the items which she will need to bring to the embassy. Are those all the items she has to bring?

Follow the VJ Guides.

Is the "evidence of financial support" referring to the form I-134 I will send her??

Yes, the same.

Thanks for any help guys!

Congrats! Actually I'm new here. And I have thought about your questions also. From what I have known, once you received the NOA2 then you have to start gathering all the needed requirements that your fiancee will need for the interview. But yeah, I also dont have an idea as to when you will send them to her if say her interview is in a month or so. In my opinion, I will ask my fiance to send them like 2 weeks before my interview, but Im also scared because it might be to close for my interview date and we never know something might happen during its delivery right? Maybe we can ask some insights from other members who have gone through this point. For the forms 156 and DS 15k, these are both needed and they can be downloaded on consulate's website. Just make sure the version is not outdated. CHeck this link out if your fiancee is from the Philippines. It shows all the documents she has to bring during her interview

First of all you should start collecting all the supporting evidence for your I-134, in case some of the stuff like employment letters take a while. I would suggest to find out what is required for the interview, and then try to make sure you and your fiancee both have everything in order. The DS-156 is a non immigrant visa application (I think it is a general form for all non immigrant visas) and the DS-156K is a specific form for fiance visas. Your fiance will need to fill out both of these, and depending on the requirements of your embassy you may need more than 1 copy. Your fiance will not receive the forms from the embassy, the forms are filled out online and printed from here. The new letter of intent you will send your fiance will serve as proof of your engagement and your commitment to marry.

Thanks. From what I've read, once the I-134 form can last up to 6 months. My fiance is in Pakistan, so it takes about a week for the papers to get there. I believe it would be better to send her the items now so that she can have it with her as soon as she goes to the interview.

Also, when you are filling out the I-134 form, and lets say your income in US dollars is aroun $55,000, would that be enough to put as far as support? Meaning, with a $55,000 income, I don't have to put down that I have a house under my name right. B/C if I do that, then I have to get all the paperwork togather, and there might be some paperwork which I may have missed?

If your income is $55,000 and your household size is just 2 (you and your fiance), then you have more than enough income and you do not need to put down other assets. As long as your income is more than 125% of the poverty guidelines for your household size, you are good to just put your income.
