So my wife is currently with me in the US and we are thinking of ASO - i asked her if she has records of vaccinations back home and she said she didn't. I know there needs to be proof of certain vaccines so what would happen in this case? would she have to take all the required ones since there is no record of it?

That is up to the Civil Surgeon that does her medical. Some will take a combination of verbal confirmation and knowledge of common practices in her country to fill out the medical. if that doesn't satisfy them, then they can check her blood for any immunities she has. Call a Civil Surgeon near you and ask them. There is a Civil Surgeon locator tool on the uscis website.

They will just do blood work to see what she got and what she didn't get, then will give her what's needed for immigration. That's what happened in my case...

gotcha - i don't think she knows anything as her last shots were probably when she was really young to remember it and her records are somewhere in a military hospital. so itl'l be probably easier to talk to a civil surgeon and see what is recommanded or do the blood work. I just don't want to get a hefty bill so am trying to see what is common practice if you don't know what vaccines you had.
