on the form n-400 when they are talking about spoue's family name does that mean maiden last name? Or do I put my married name?

If you are a girl, then your husband's last (family) name.

If you are a boy, then your wife's last (family) name.

Here in the U.S. husband and wife sometimes have different last (family) names.

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all . . . .
