Wife had CR-1 interview Thursday, 11 Oct. All went well as reported in embassy review. All people interviewed were approved.

Of note:

The visa delivery system changed 20 Sept. They require the printed confirmation page for the visa delivery; they will not conduct the interview without it. Olga didn't have hers, but the staff fixed it.

She had every document possibly needed (except as noted above), but only a few things were requested. Highly recommended to have everything well organized. Not necessarily in a binder, but perhaps in an accordian file or separated folders for easy access.

Again, as reported on the review, all staff - guards, clerks, interviewer - were friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful. A positive experience.

Congratulations!!!

" They require the printed confirmation page for the visa delivery; they will not conduct the interview without it."

So they changed the order of things a bit, I take it you have to pay for the visa delivery service before the interview and show the receipt--and this is now to be done on the day of the interview or can it be done prior to the interview date? Just a bit of clarification.

Spasibo guys!

We did the CR-1, so I guess delivery costs were included in the application fees paid to NVC. I think there's a notice somewhere that explains the new procedure, but since I'm not there I'm not really involved in that part. Clear as mud, I know. Sorry.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
