Hi Guys,

I filed for AP (I-131) last week and received NOA few days later. Now, when I enter the receipt number that starts with MSCxxxxx, the USCIS website doesn't return any case status. Also, the phone line says no case exists with this number.

Does USCIS use different system for AP? Has anyone followed the status of an AP request before?

When you say that you "received NOA few days later," was that an email message or snail mail Form I-797c? My recent similar NOA1 email message said to wait a few days before trying to check status.

The info was available soon after I received the snail mail copy.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I received a letter. I did not include a request to update me by email or text, is this why I cannot check it online?

No, they are just likely slow to update their system.

It is good that you got the official I-797c receipt.

:time: if you update your time line, including the correct service center, you will get the VJ site time estimate of adjudication of your applications.
