Morning everyone,

Mailed packet 3 three weeks ago and not heard anything ... This usual? Should I be calling them to chase up yet?

April 30th 2011 Met in Las Vegas, NV at Paris Resort and Casino

June 4th 2012 Mailed I-129F from Salt Lake City, UT to Dallas, TX

June 6th 2012 Received in Dallas

June 11th 2012 Text/E-mail of NOA1

June 14th 2012 Received hardcopy of NOA1

August 16th 2012 Received text/e-mail of NOA2

August 27th 2012 NVC received petition

Sep 3rd 2012 Received Packet 3 from London Embassy

It took about four weeks for our packet 3 to be logged. Today's a federal holiday, so you won't be able to call the Dept. of State to speak with anyone, but try calling later in the week/next week to check in.

Part One: The K-1 Visa Journey:

USCIS Receipt of I-129F: January 24, 2012 | Petition Approval: June 15, 2012 (No RFEs)
Interview: October 24, 2012 - Review | Visa Delivered: October 31, 2012



Part Two: Entry and Adjusting Status:

POE: November 18, 2012 (at SFO) - Review
Wedding: December 1, 2012 | Social Security: New cards received on December 7, 2012.
AOS Package (I-485/I-765/I-131) NOA1: February 19, 2013 | Biometrics Appt.: March 18, 2013
AP/EAD Approved: April 29, 2013 | Card Received: May 6, 2013 | AOS Interview Appt.: May 16, 2013 - Approved Review Card Received: May 24, 2013

What about your medical exam? Was that before or after the forms were sent? Also, I thought you wanted to slow down or stop the K1 process because you weren't ready yet.

It's been 4 weeks since I mailed packet 3 (with DS-2001 and covering letter) and 3 weeks since they've logged and/or processed the forms and I still haven't heard of an interview date yet. I'm hoping I might hear something this week. A lot of others are still waiting to hear something so all we can do is be patient and wait as well as hope and pray.

A suggestion for everybody counting days/weeks. The count doesn't really start until the medical is received by the embassy. So even if you sent forms 10 weeks ago, Claire, you aren't going to hear anything until the medical results are received plus some weeks. Also allow 4 days after the exam before you start counting. Julz is 3 weeks today (assuming medical arrived Sept 17) so hopefully this week or early next. ::crosses fingers::

Well at my medical they did say that if everything was all good then they would have the results sent over to the embassy by the following Tuesday (18th Sept). If that was the case then i'm hoping to maybe hear of an interview date this week since this is the week 3.

Ahh not even booked my medical yet - or got my overseas record check. Didn't send the readiness form obviously. Just thought I might have got a receipt letter or something. Yeah we're still not rushing it nick - just enquiring. Will book my medical tomorrow I think
