How can you only meet someone once and think you really know them? These post are becoming way too frequent and I think the foreigner just wants to get to America and then cry foul.

I've met my husband through work. He was in the Los Angeles branch and I was in the Philippines branch. We had a long distance relationship for a year and a half. We only saw each other once for 3 weeks during that time period and we got married 6 months after our in-person meeting. Been married 7 years and a naturalized citizen for almost 4 years. I could have ran off a long time ago and still be able to stay here without him but he's perfect for me. I do know him pretty well before we got married. However, if I had met my in-laws before we got married, I'd probably still be in Philippines. :rofl:

Anyways, I have lots of Indian friends over here who had an arranged marriage and they usually only meet each other once or twice before getting married. But they're very happy. :) It does work!

10/09 - Received by Manila Embassy

10/12 - Result of Sputum Test (Need to repeat)

10/16-10/18 - Repeat Sputum Test (Negative)

12/13 - Sputum Final Result (Negative)

12/21 - Interview at Embassy (Approved)

12/28 - Visa Picked Up from 2GO

12/28 - CFO

12/30 - POE (LAX)
