This past saturday we received a RFE for the DS230, part one but that the everything was in order for the i-864; we sent them in at the same time but in separate envelopes after recieving a RFE a couple months back for more information on the i-864 and certified copies for the DS-230.

From what I understand the RFE for the DS-230 is an automatically generated email when they process the i-864 and have not processed the DS-230. We havent heard anything since Saturday so should we be expecting notification that everything is in order and our case has been sent to the consulate in New Zealand?

Thanks.

No you will not get any notification. You need to call and make sure everything is okay and you get case complete. After case complete you will wait in the interview queue. Than once that appens (they are assigningNovember interviews now) you will get email notification of yoru interview than your case gets sent to embassy.

So call them.

Looks like they are processing our i-864 today but that there might be a problem with the joint sponsor information and that we might get a 3rd checklist today.... This immigration stuff is doing my head in.

No checklist in email today so either they haven't gotten to reviewing it today like they said they would OR it has been approved; either way we will be calling them tomorrow for a status update.
