E-mail for NVC and USCIS

Hi Board, just a quick question. After I 130 is approved, looks like NVC contacts you through e-mail. Where do they get the e-mail ID from?

Do they get it when USCIS transfers the file to them after I 130 approval that was provided in the I 130 package?

Or I've to give it to them by filling out some other form first?

when you applyed for the 1-130 you received a notice of auction 797 one,on that letter there is a case number you can use that number to check your case online uscis,if your case was complete then it will be sent to the consulate you should get a hard copy in the mail.

After the I-130 has been approved and the file sent to the NVC. You will need to start calling the NVC to find out if a case number has been assigned to your file. Allow at least one week from the time you receive indication from USCIS that they have approved the petition. Once a case number has been assigned, you can give the NVC email addresses of both the petitioner and beneficiary. Once they have those on record, they will correspond with you via email. I'll repeat myself for emphasis, you must call the NVC, don't wait for them to contact you, if you wait for them to contact you, you will be waiting for a long time and you will be waiting needlessly.

This is not accurately written as it relates to what the OP is asking. Firstly, an I-130 is not something that is applied for, it is a petition form that is filed. Secondly, the OP was asking about the NVC, there is no way to check status online at the NVC stage. Lastly, the NVC does not send "case complete" emails or mail hard copies. The exception to the no case complete email is an EP case, EP cases do receive case complete emails.
