Hi visa journey fellow,

I am new member of this site. I have a question that i need to ask you. I apply for my wife visa I-130 in 2011. It has already approved and case completed at national visa center on December 22. It just waiting for the visa become available. I am going to be a citizen next month then how long it will take to forward my case to overseas if i send a certificate of naturalization to the national visa center.

Once you become a citizen, your petition will be processed immediately. How long it will take until interview for your wife will depend on the country she is in- in some, it may take 4 weeks, in others there is a waitinglist on it could take 3 months.
