I ordered the police clearance via the TorontoPolice.On.Ca site, and went to pick it up in person today, and now I'm worried that I got the wrong thing. I've read on the boards that there is supposed to be a raised seal by the CPIC, and mine does not have that. It's on official Toronto police letterhead, and has security features (like a cheque would).

It says:

Please be advised that a search of the National Criminal Records repository maintained by the RCMP did not identify any records for a person with the name(s) and date of birth as indicated.

Positive identification that a criminal record may or may not exist at the National Criminal Records repository can only be confirmed by fingerprint comparison.

Then it has the issuing clerk's signature and badge number, and a blurb about this screening not intended for individuals employed with a vulnerable person....

Do I need to get another certificate, or is this one okay?

It sounds fine. CPIC or National Criminal Records Repository searches with name and DOB are both valid.

Your's is fine. Different police and RCMP facilities seem to use different statements. It isn't 'standardized. Mine read just like yours. It didn't have any sort of raised seal either,

Mine is from the O.P.P. It has a raised seal but the same wording KT :)
