I sent the DS 230 last week and just realized am not suppose to leave gaps on the dates on question 30, listing addresses

Do I wait for rfe or just correct this dates and mail to nvc

Hi Kindle,

Do not send any additional paperwork to the NVC unless they specifically request it. If you do receive and RFE, you will need the cover letter they provide with the checklist to ensure your correct information gets placed with your original petition. If you send paperwork without the cover letter, it may never reach your original documentation, causing further delays.

Wait to see what they say first. Did you use the "Example Form" here on VJ to complete the DS-230?

In addition, you may want to have the beneficiary go ahead and complete the DS-230 again and have in in route to you while you are waiting. Better safe than sorry.

I appreciate your response, I already asked my wife to prepare another DS 230 and send to me, it was just a stupid mistake.

The dates were listed as below

1/2004 to preset

11/2001 to 9/2003

So there is this gap of 3 months cos she was on vacation from school.

My understanding is never to have any gaps in-between the dates.

The directions, however, say for at least 6 months. I have a gap in my husbands dates too, from when he was in immigration jail for 3 months.
