I would reply to the email and ask if there are any documents that are needed for the interview. They might need more documents and/or have further questions. My fiance had his interview on Sept 7th was approved and we have not received the visa yet. I emailed the Embassy twice with no reply, I called DHL and they said the Embassy is still processing the visa. I called the DOS and they said it's in AP under review to see if they have all of the documents.

I would suggest calling DOS, maybe they can tell you.

ok i did email them now just waiting on them to respond. we have called dhl and they said that it was still at the embassy and they were backed up.

Do you think they are calling her back to deny it?

this is a complicated situation. only DOS can provide you with the answer you need. i think you should call them in their regular work hours and speak to an agent. i have never heard of anything like this before

I don't think they'd call her back to deny her. I think they just need more information. Do you have a co-sponsor? Did they take all of the documents at the interview? Maybe they are just missing something. Call DOS tomorrow and see if they know.

thats what i was thinking like maybe there was a problem with dhl or maybe to tell her its backlogged a bit or something. i didnt think they would call her back to tell her its denied but maybe so, so that they can give her passport back but they didnt say anything in the email just that its an appointment. yeah we used a co sponsor because i lived with her for 6 months last year and here half the year. thanks i will call them tomorrow morning.

So i called DOS and all they said was that the case was still pending. if it is still pending then why did they take her passport and have her pay DHL and give her a tracking number over a month ago?

There was a case a few months ago, where that same thing happened and they didn't print the visa because they needed a co-sponsor and they were not told at the interview, they had to find out from DOS. They did get all the documents in though and got the visa eventually. The moral of the story is, sometimes the embassy communicates information poorly, or they don't at all.Try and find out exactly what additional information they need to take to that second appointment. Best Luck.

ok thanks. well they told us after her interview we needed a co sponsor. so i got one and got the paperwork filled out and to her and she took it to them at her second appointment. she was then instructed to pay dhl and give her passport and birth certificate. i called dos this morning and they said the case is still pending. i thought we were approved so i have no clue now. this is the third appointment and we have emailed them to see if she needs to take anything this time and what its for. just hope we get a response.

ok so all the appointment was about was to tell my fiance about my arrests that happened when i was 18 and they asked if she still wanted to marry me. i had told her about them when we met. they had to do that before it could be finished. they said they printed her visa and she should have it shortly.
