Realism helps in every case! If you can't attract a 5'10" 22 year old blonde in America you can probably assume the 5'10" 22 year old blonde Russian who wants to marry you just wants a greencard!

In many cases that will be a false assumption. When you consider the alcoholism, suicide rates, etc among Russian males, the assumption could be made that many Russian women are just looking for a husband that can provide them with stability, love, affection, etc. There are also cultural differences between American and Russian females. I'd say the average Russian female has more maturity than the average American girl.

It's not more maturity, it's fewer options ;)

I can't see myself going through this ever again...........at this time anyway.

Never say never though is one thing I have learned and I never thought I would be

in this position in the first place, dealing with this immigration mess.

I would have to somewhat agree I also never thought I would travel to China and marry my wife the process took some 13 months. Now with the government calling for illegal alien immigration amnesty here in America soon, I can just imagine how this will cause a major backlog in the processing of visa’s for the legal immigrants (SO’s) trying to acquire a visa in the future. This will be interesting to see if this happens and the effects it will have on those trying to bring a love one from another country here. I have to admit for me this has been a wonderful experience and I definitely hope this will be my last love of my life, but would not rule out meeting another women if something went wrong in my current marriage from another country if the process doesn’t bottleneck, currently this would be the farthest thing from my mind.
