Asking for a supervisor WORKED!

Here's a brief run-down:

Sep 10, I called NVC & got case number from them & was told application would be sent to Haiti later that day.

Sep 11, called to check & was told my fiance's DOB was wrong. I looked at the printed copy of the application packet & BOTH forms in the packet with his info, had the correct DOB & the same one I was giving. They said we had to send the birth cert & then hung up on me. Called back & a nicer guy said we can send a scanned copy of his passport. But then his scanner at work was down for a couple of days, so I sent the scanned copy of the original application this morning, but then he was able to get the scanned copies of BOTH his passport and birth cert later today, so I sent them.

Sep 14 (today) around 10:00p.m. I called NVC & asked about it. The guy said it's still not fixed. I asked how long. He said check back in a week... FOR THEIR MISTAKE? I said that I didn't think that was fair, since they made the mistake. He said he'd find a supervisor. Came back & said no supervisor was available, but can he send a message to his supervisor. I gave him the info & was pretty firm in my request.

WITHIN a half-hour, I got an email that it's been corrected! I wasn't rude. I was firm.
