Hello Vj'rs seems that NVC start sending emails with interviews app for the month of October! But what's up with the London Embassy?? Any CR/R1 or R5 getting anything?? Drop a line.

I'm with you. CR1-I-130/DCF. My husband had his medical in London on the 5th. I know it's a little premature since it's only been 9 days but we're waiting...Impatiently lol.

We're doing CR-1 DCF too and sent back DS-230 and DS-2001 on the 15th August, signed for on the 16th. I called on the 10th September and they hadn't even opened the mail yet! They said its taking about 4 weeks just to open and log mail. Medical was on the 23rd August and still waiting...

Well my case is via NVC and I just called them and was told to call in the middle of next week to see if I made for the October slot...but I can't understand anymore how this process works when others Embassies are already scheduling interviews..Do we blame on the Olympics?but not even DCF are getting news? Crazy days!

I think its just down to the embassy having a backlog of mail. At least thats what they told me when i emailed them.

What they are saying is that they don't have enough people to check their mail?? This is bad then...because if is like that imagine about interviews?

They said the delay is because of the public holidays.

I think that the issue is beyond a bank holiday...my case was completed on the 17/08 and still I might no make it October interviews.

Mean while other countries after waiting for some weeks as well just started getting their dates last thursday...So what's really the problem with the London Embassy?I couldn't bother to call them because I already know what answer I would get! That NVC schedule interviews the Embassy just allocate it those interviews! :crying: Maybe just maybe I will make it for Thanksgiving!

I don't think it's merely opening the mail. It's like when you filed the petition and it waited in a box from Jan to Jun to get some action. Many people are in line.

Well, looking at the stats, they issued just under 103,000 visas in 2011. That's getting close to maybe 300 a Working day. It's an increase over 2010.

2012 may be higher. Like other businesses maybe the same workers are expected to carry a bigger load. Summer is likely their busy season. And you are hitting your time at the end when they haven't caught up. And I would imagine Olympics in a city might bring up some extra issues from a larger than normal number of Americans in town needing other services (not visas to the US.)

It doesn't really matter what the reason is, the fact still remains - they have not sent the letter yet and there is nothing we can do about it!

Im completely with you on the frustration etc. I've been stalking my post man for a month (it really isn't a creepy as it sounds) But there is only one thing to do - wait!

Yeah we were Case Complete August 27th. Really am hoping an October Interview Date!

My case was completed on Sept. 6...so seeing as October still isn't being scheduled, I'm HOPING for November maybe?? I'm so over waiting....as are all of us!
