Hello. My fiancee is about to have her interview. I have only worked for half of last year until now. So I would think my income wont suffice for the affidavit of support. Is it okay if my fiancee will be the one to prove that she has her own money in her savings?

If you calculate your total income for the year What would it be? will it exceed 18,912 for a family of two?

If you were laid off/not working last year but this year you are back to working full time and your income meets or exceeds the guidelines then write a letter explaining this, and of course include pay stubs and such as required.

Thank you so much.......I was in the Philippines for a very long time, and then I got here in the U.S and started working in the middle of 2011(July 5). I didn't make enough=$15,000 which is the I-134 requirement for two. Maybe I will write a letter.. And by the way. for the interview we need the I-134 which requires 100% poverty guideline req?.. Then when my fiancee is here we need to change her status and thats when we need the I-864?
