Hello all

My fiance and I are both pretty young (early 20s) and have just started to get together our K1 visa stuff(been together 5years and I've visited him 3 times within the past year). We've read the guides on here etc, but we're still a little confused about some things. firsr I went to get the G-325A file and was just finishing filling it out when I noticed that at the top it has an expiry date that says 8/31/12. Now we're unsure if we can still send this in, or if we're going to have to wait till the form is reviewed and the expiry changed. Also, I'm worried about sending the original paperwork that I have to fill out here in AUS to my fiance in the US. I don't like the idea of sending things like this in the mail for such a long distance. Does anyone know if it would be okay to fill it all out, scan it in to the computer and send everything in a e-mail to my fiance instead? I understand that its better if its the originals, and I'll send them if I have to. Just trying to find alternitives.

By the way, sorry if this has been asked before. I really wasn't sure what to type in the search bar that would get me the answers I'm looking for.

The letter of intent and G-325A both require an original signature and cannot be a scanned copy.

The expiration date is for USCIS and doesn't really matter for you. The edition date at the bottom of the form is what really matters, though for the G-325A all previous editions are acceptable anyway.

From the USCIS G-325A website: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=d7c84154d7b3d010VgnVCM10000048f3d6a1RCRD&vgnextchannel=db029c7755cb9010VgnVCM10000045f3d6a1RCRD

Edition Date :

08/08/11. Previous editions accepted.
