My fiance is from South Africa. We received our NOA1 March 1, 2012, still waiting for NOA2. He is currently on a C1/D crewmember visa, and also has B1/B2 10 year tourist visa. I am a recent college graduate with school loans and a job as an RN. I am wondering if the I-134 would be affected because of my financial situation. Should I ask my parents to act as the sponsor to show an adequate means of financial support? Please advise!

Yes use one of your parents as a cosponsor. And for the K-1 you use the I-134 and not the I-864.

Thanks! Do both the primary and secondary sponsors use the I-134?
