I am so upset right now....Air Jamaica a has screwed up my night :cry:

The Cancelled my husband's flight for tonight ...#######

Now they are bumping him to a Newark...which is delayed, for 3 hours. Then shuttle him to Philly. This could be sometime at 12 or 1 am. I am going to have to be out alone at these times.

I wanted this to go as smoothly as possible. But now its complicated mess. His first time flying he gets, flight dealys, bumped to another destination, and shuttled. Uggghhhh.

I was all nervous and anxious....now I'm vexed. Sorry people, I am trying to look on the bright side, atleast he is still coming but this is soo inconvenient.

Yes, it is inconvenient. Flying can be inconvenient but until they invent a better mode of travel this is what we're all stuck with

Ahhh know how this feels my hubby was delayed for 6 hours the night he was due home. It was soon forgotten though once he arrived safely. You will have a happy reunion no matter what!

Cant you just drive to Newark and collect him from there saving him having to wait to board another plane to Philly.

At least you will be together for the drive back!

I'm checking in to driving to Newark. It may end up being the case if all else fails (missing the shuttle). This is going to be quite the Adventure, because I get lost everywhere. Even in Philly and I lived here for over 20 yrs.

I hear ya... my first flight to US: had to stay overnight in Singapore airport as the next flight was supposed to leave at 6 am, got up at 3 am only to find out that the flight (it was Northwest) was cancelled !!! Got bumped to other airlines and had to transit in LAX instead of direct to MSP, and I was over 9 hrs late. But all these craps were washed away once I got in hubby's arms

It's impossible to get lost driving to EWR. Just get on the New Jersey Turnpike North and keep driving till you see signs for Newark Airport. Then just follow signs and you're there. You simply can't get lost.

I was just thinking and hubby has no clothes that are appropriate for this weather. So he'll be out and about with no sweater/jacket/ or coat...until he gets to me.

And he's traveling at night and the temps really drop ...brrrrrr
