Hi all,

When I prepared my IV packet and AOS packet, I placed them in their own addressed envelopes according the to address given on the bar coded cover sheet. When I took the two packets to the post office, we placed them into one cardboard-type envelope and sent them together. My IV packet has been reviewed and accepted but my AOS packet is not showing as received and I even got a checklist for it! What gives with the NVC?? I know that since the IV packet was accepted that they must have the AOS packet as well since they came in the same envelope! Any idea why this is?? All I need is for the AOS packed to be reviewed and accepted, then I can get my case closed!!! Aaaagghhhhh. NVC you're killing me

The reason for the checklist was because they reviewed your IV package. Simple as that. NVC quite often issues a checklist for the other package after reviewing a package. They don't bother checking if the other package has already been received; the checklist is just automatically generated.

The reason your AOS hasn't been reviewed yet is because they haven't gotten to it. It won't show up to an operator until it's been reviewed (even if it's in the building). I think I'm safely assuming there are two different departments for IV and AOS, so the officer who reviewed your IV package won't be reviewing your AOS package.

Thanks for that Saylin :) I assumed as much. I'm with you that there's two different departments for processing the packets and it's fairly obvious the two don't communicate with one another! Hoping they get to my AOS packet soon so I can get my case closed. We'd love to get an October interview :)

Grats! kicking.gifkicking.gif And I believe for London it's about 2 months from case complete to interview date. You could find out within the next few days or the next few weeks. You can either wait for the interview letter or call NVC and/or DOS every day.
