My wife and I are currently at the NVC stage of things, and are getting ready to have our case transferred to the consulate. Is there anything we can do to give ourselves the best chance for success at the consulate?

We have submitted all of the required documentation, and despite a few minor clerical errors at the USCIS, our petition is moving forward. Should I be worried about this small errors anymore since it is no longer at the USCIS stage (they did send RFE and I informed them of errors in a letter).

Does the Consulate just review the new information submitted to the NVC to verify that you have proper support and your marriage is valid?

The consulate has everything you have submitted from initial I-130 to the NVC documents.

You should read reviews of the consulate and get acquainted with the manner cases are handled there.

Morocco is a hard country to get a visa as it's considered 'high-fraud' by the powers that be. There are many members around that have dealt with that consulate. I have read many stories about the consulate myself and I wish you luck.

Have you visited the MENA forum here and introduced yourself? You'll likely get some good answers to your question there.

My review of Morocco has indicated that about 50% of people will get approved at first interview, and in last 10 months, all but 2 have received visa, and as of my review, no woman has been turned down recently in Morocco either. We have much supporting evidence, including emails, skype, and text message records to assist us.

I have also noticed in the review, that alot of the "k" visas have been denied recently due to fraud, but the marriage visas seem to go through fine. Sometimes the need to go through some additional administrative processing, but the visa has been issued in time, with a respectful staff there.

My observations I have seen most ladies get approved easier especially if the husband is Moroccan or Muslim. I was preview to two ladies being denied during my husbands interview date. They were held until the end after all the families with children and elders were seen and yes they were denied. I was allowed to wait in a waiting area and was there when they left and preview to their disappointnent etc... I could not tell you why they were denied but it does happen. A godoy friend of ours went to his interview 5 days after my husband and he and two ladies were denied as well. As far as those that subscribe to this forum I have to agree most are approved first time.

Ofcourse we wish everyone here the best if your case is in order I would not loose sleep over it. I would not automatically assume she will come home after the interview many cases are put on AP as was ours for 62 days. I waited around for a month since they said they would call in one or two weeks but no such thing happened. Visa was issued after two interviews and over two months after initial interview.

You being present during interview even if just outside the Embassey is always a good thing.

Good luck
