Thank you so much,

Kiki :)

Well, I was touched...I am still a bit worried as I still am not sure if the Police Letter I sent from my local sheriff was what they wanted in the RFE. Guess I'll find out soon! :(

Some good news - I was informed today that I got a job! I had the interview last week. It is a teaching fellow position at the University of Virginia!!

Just hope I get the green card now. it would be kind of ironic if I don't!

Leasel, I will be teaching in Wise, SW Virginia. UVA has a college here in the mountains! It's a great place.

Is Wise anywhere near Blacksburg? Sounds like y'all are trying to give Virginia Tech a run for their money! (Have you been in Virginia long enough to get into the rivalry between UVA & Tech? :) )

I hope you get approved soon...all those consecutive touches must be leading up to something!

Hi All Another CSC success story- I think!! My daughter and My USCIS Case status said

"On July 28,2006 a welcome notice was mailed for this case" just 18 days after the transfer to Cali. However I also received letters dated July 24 for a request for initial interview in Atlanta on Sept 11. So Im just waiting for the green cards to arrive before I call Atlanta to see if the interview will be cancelled. Anyone else get An interview date and then get a welcome notice before the interview? just wondering. Good luck to all of you waiting and congrats Ms Squitto

All,

I received the approval e-mail yesterday! Now just waiting for the green card to come!

Jennifer

Congrats to you to jmk71171

Congrats to jmk71171 and laraandjeff !

LaraandJeff, your interview notice sounds like a mix-up but I think it's a good idea to set up an Infopass just to be on the safe side. I seem to recall a couple of similar cases a while back but I don't remember the exact details, I believe the couples were told that the interview appointment was a mistake since they already had the greencard by then.

I hope all is going well for all you other CSC transferees...

Things are going GREAT for me -- my husband's AOS case was approved on Friday!

Well, I was touched again! Hope this is good news....I start work next week and it would be GREAT to have the GC to show my new employers.

You've had lots of touches recently, so that sounds very promising. In our case we had a series of consecutive touches, then three days of silence (which made me think the case was on the back burner), and then the approval three days later!

And CONGRATS leasel on your approval!:thumbs:

Thanks, hopefully you are next! I'm sending all my AOS speedy processing and approval mojo to you now...
