Hello everyone,

I am planing to visit my country On Oct 2012 and stay for a couple of months at the same time my passport will expired Feb 2013, and i have 5 months remaining before it expired which am planning to renew it to my country for cheaper & faster way because we are far to DC & it is expensive in there & it takes 6weeks before i will received my Philippine Passport.

i have valid i.d GC to return here at US.

is there anyone has the same issue like mine & experience traveling back home (phil.)

You need six ( 6 ) months remaining on your passport... no exception. The airlines won't let you board the airplane if less than 6 months.

Best get serious with contacting the Philippine Embassy nearest you.
