Madam, can you please give me an idea what the email says? I am basically trying to see if the email is the evidence needed to start the medical examination process. Trying to see fi I need an official letter from the Embassy for the Doc to start the medical process.

Thanks.

Sorry I'm late getting back to you. I just saw this thread again. The email came from Smart-core

Ok it says-

RE: Inquiry of status-ice

Dear Sir/Madam:

Thank you for your email.

According to our records his Immigrant visa interview has been scheduled for 19-OCT-2012, at 07:00 a.m.

We only accept medical examinations from the Q-Life family Clinic, Plot 155A Prince Ade Odedina Street, Off Ajose Adeogun,Victoria Island, Lagos 01-804-2000 or 01-726-2840 Cell: 0702-770-4055 or the Children’s Practice Ltd., 25 Raymond Njoku, Ikoyi, Lagos; 01-893-0723. He may contact any of the clinics to schedule his medical examination. Medical packets are available at the clinic or at http://nigeria.usembassy.gov/immigrant_visa_forms.html

He would not be allowed in for the interview without a medical report from either clinic.

We have attached the preparatory packet with requirements for the interview. Please note that the visa fee is $240, and payment must be made at the Consulate at the time of the interview. His name will be included on the list at the visa gate; he may come with a copy of this email.

Sincerely,

Correspondence Unit

I already paid for the visa but my question is does the guards collect money before they let you in the gate for your interview? if they do how much?
