I used an attorney and she did a great job helping me put the I-130 package together - all the proof, certified letters from friends, Western Union receipts (financial co mingling), wedding photos, marriage books, etc.

I am simply performing some healthy cross-checking with this good community for any feedback, potential snags etc.

On March 30, 2012, USCIS received my I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, (NOA #1 recv'd a few days later)

Question 1). Since I live in Delaware - does anyone know which Service Center or Processing Center?

Question 2). What is your experience with the posted (USCIS) approval timelines? (They currently say 5 months for Vermont)

Question 3). What might be the realistic date for my wife to come from China?

Warmest regards and good luck to all!

JOHN

1. review yer receipt number in that NOA-1, if EAC that's Vermont, if WAC that's California

2. Figure 5 to 7 months at USCIS

3. Figure 2 to 6 weeks to transit to NVC

4. OPT IN TO NVC Electronic Processing, you'll be in/out of NVC within 7 weeks, then

5. The interview will be scheduled at the end of NVC Processing, for a Month Out.

Good Luck !

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

All good but the biggest challenge will be to get the attorney to optin for electronic processing. Start educating and begging now.

You gents are awesome - thanks so much and cheery blessings for your personal journey as well!

It's looking like I'll bear from VSC sometime first 2 weeks of Sept with NOA2.

I'll start educating my att'y on the Electronic Processing - hope she knows what this is!
