Hello all! Does anyone know what this means?

Application Type: I129F , PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On October 23, 2006, we responded to your request for more information

Not sure why they would "respond" and not send receipt acknowledgement.

21 Nov 06: US Embassy Seoul recieved petition from NCV, Fiance faxed in DS230 and Passport copy, Fiance requested interview date on-line and Packet 3 received from US Embassy Seoul

26 Nov 06: Recieved appointment letter

12 Dec 06: Interview at Embassy

Did you inquire them about your case?

Yep, called USCIS hotline yesterday afternoon. Then about 4 hours later they finally updated our status on-line. Just wondering why they'd say they sent a response. Seems odd to me. Any ideas? If it's approval, they should update with an approved status and e-mail. Not a we sent you a response e-mail.

This is a normal, generic email in response to a petitioner making an inquiry, usually by phone, as you did,

hence the wording:

"We responded to your request for more information concerning your case"

When are you approved, you should received an email indicating "you are approved".

Waiver approved after 10 months. Did NOT use a lawyer
