Hi, all my interview date is approaching and I have been very stressed, we have all the required documentation,and proof, I can help being nervous about it, I will be traveling in 9 days to cuba, but any suggestions or advise that I can receive it would be really appreciated, Thanks !!!!!!

Yetsi, it is very stressful. But if you have a real relationship you will be able to answer any question in a similar way and have the proof that will get approval. Have you read the interview reports specific to Cuba?

They asked us a couple of questions that worried me, but since we answered in very similar ways it was WHY were approved. The interviewer asked us (separately) what if my children didn't like him - they had never met or spoken to each other. My answer was that my children are grown (in their 20's) and that they are happy for me, and maybe I said how could they not like him? His answer was that we would deal with that if it happened but why would it happen? When he answered that question - she said "I believe you, you are approved."

Make sure you tell the truth and answer the question that is asked of you, don't elaborate and try to add any "spin". I would especially tell your Cuban not to embellish - you know how some Cubans love to talk when a simple short answer will do.

We practiced this. When a no or yes answer will do, don't lengthen the answer. Good luck!

Thank you, so much, for you advise it really helped, I am traveling a week before so we can talk about it with patience and time and prepare physically for the interview, because we have plenty of evidence that proof that our relationship is genuine and truthful, the though that they literally hold your life in their hands, its what it is scary. perhaps I am anxious about the whole thing, but deep inside I am confident that everything is going to be fine and well, I believe in God.
