Hello everybody,

Very surprised i received an e-mail containing the appointment letter and instructions...

We got the interview for September 20, 2012 at 12:30 pm.

I don't understand this at all, but we are very grateful for this appointment.

As you guys know they said that my case was still in NVC waiting for the embassy, that the

Embassy is already scheduled that i will hear from them after sept.15 and the appointment for

somewhere in Oct.

Well this is what we got, i guess you never know with this processes.

Thank you all for your support.

That is EXCELLENT news!! Congrats! :)

And you are right about their weird processing. Other cases that were completed after me in NVC got earlier interview dates in August than my wife. If you remember my case was completed on June 19 and the interview set for August 28 (now 4 days away!). Now if you look at Mike & Lizeth's profile their case was completed on June 22 and their interview already happened on August 16. The same goes for Daniel & Naudy, case completed June 21, interview was August 9. Of course I am not hating, I'm happy for everyone going through this and getting approved but wished our journey could have been completed earlier like a FIFO (first in first out) rule, seems only fair.

Anyway congrats again and good luck to everyone!

Congratulatios!

Then that means the US Embassy in Bogotá is still scheduling interviews for the next month if the case was approved during the first two weeks of the previous month. I had seen this all summer and was pretty surprised to hear that you were expecting to get an October interview.

Congrats once again and good luck!

my fiancee has an upcoming interview. I had been checking for available dates on a regular (Is hourly regular? lol) basis. Nothing. Nothing. nothing. Then I got a message from another VJ member saying dates had been made available, and got one that was about two weeks later. Perhaps those were only visible by K1 applicants, perhaps they were only available for a very short time. I guess my advice is don't think that because you didn't see anything available for the last three days that something won't be available when you check tomorrow at 10:15 am.
