OK, this is what happened at the interview yesterday

My fiance arrived at the embassy at 6:00 am and said that there were already many people there waiting. She went in and talked to the consulate officer who asked her questions and then told her to to the next window and wait for her name to be called. When she went to that window, it was the 2go window who gave her a 221g form which requested her to get a nso cenomar from pasay and have it delivered to the embassy via the 2go service, She had previously gotten a recent cenomar from her local office in Malabon two weeks prior to the interview. They also kept her passport. On the sticky note attached to the 221g there was a handwritten note which said that the interview was ok. So, do I need to be worried about anything here?

8/17/12 Interview complete, 221g issued to send NSO CENOMAR to embassy through 2go

8/31/12 Called Senator to ask for inquiry at embassy.

8/31/12 Visa printed

9/5/12 2GO Courier service has visa in transit

9/6/12 2go Courier delivered VISA at 4:30 pm

They also kept her passport. On the sticky note attached to the 221g there was a handwritten note which said that the interview was ok. So, do I need to be worried about anything here?

Sounds like she should comply with their request promptly.

No, she went to the NSO office in Pasay and paid for the NSO CENOMAR and delivery fee. It will probably be wednesday before they get around to her paperwork being that there is a holiday there Monday and Tuesday. She was given a number to call the 2go office to see if the CENOMAR was delivered to the embassy.

No...there is only 1 type of CENOMAR. You can obtain the Cert. of No Marriage only from the National Statistics Office (NSO).

She was able to receive an updated cenomar from NSO in less than 1 day?..... :wow:

Actually here in Iloilo, you can process CENOMAR/CEMAR in just a day

well 4hrs to be specific.

Yes my fiance was able to get her CENOMAR in Malabon in one day, but the embassy consulate officer requested a NSO CENOMAR from Pasay. Doesn't make sense to me as both of them will state that they came from the National Statistics Office at the top of the form.

As long as the document is printed on NSO security paper....then it is official. :thumbs:

Unsure about the CR-1 I think that is a different type of form a CEMAR showing you are married. I have heard it is the embassy consulate officers discretion on weither or not he will accept the form you have or request a reverification

As long as you comply the papers that they need...the visa will be in her hand soon...but typically it takes 1 week for the CENOMAR.GOOD LUCK!
