I'm also not aware of Erskine Bowles having endorsed the GOP ticket. In fact, he just penned an op-ed rejecting Romney's claim that his deficit reduction plan and tax reform is similar to Simpson-Bowles saying that Romney's plan doesn't reduce the deficit or debt. How you deduct from that that this lifelong Democrat will support Mitt this November is beyond me.

"This month, Romney said that his tax reform proposal is very similar to the Simpson-Bowles plan. How I wish it were. I will be the first to cheer if Romney decides to embrace our plan. Unfortunately, the numbers say otherwise: His reform plan leaves too many tax breaks in place and, as a result, does nothing to reduce the debt."

Since we're on imaginary cross-party endorsements, will Newt vote for Obama/Biden seeing that he criticized Ryan's budget plan as radical right-wing social engineering?

In other words Dem, Bowels was for him before he was against him.

FEw people are "all for" any politician, I can even find a few faults with Reagan (believe it or not).

They do indeed. He did a pretty good job outlining the very significant differences in the Simpson-Bowles plan vs. the Ryan plan. I prefer the former over the latter.
