Hellooo,

So, I've been looking at various websites which tell me what I'm allowed to take as hand luggage. Now I know I can't take anything liquid or whatever, but they seem to be telling me that all I can take on is basically my travel documents and and Ipod.

They have not included 'book' or 'clothes', which would completely screw up my packing plan - I need all the space I can get!! I can't imagine they wouldn't let you take on some clothes in the right size bag..

Anyone in the know please let me know!!

If you're looking at the list the same as for example the 'Hand Luggage Guidelines' on the BA website, the things that are listed as 'you can take' is not a complete list. It's just confirming things you *can* take that you may have thought were restricted. The size and weight of bag is very important (dependent on airline) but you can take clothes, books, etc. just not any of the restricted items.

Good luck with packing! :)

On which websites do you find the lists? What were the ones you looked at? Im trying to find out what i am allowed to carry with me as well.

The world around you gets hazy and the only thing you focus on is you and that person. And for that one moment you've been given this amazing gift and you want to laugh and you want to cry at the same time because you're so lucky you've found it and so scared that it will go away.

I looked on the website of the airline, in my case Air India and American, but I htink the rules are pretty much the same in all cases.
