Cancel K1 Petition?

7 posts in this topic

How would I cancel a K1 petition? Its still in initial review at VSC. Also, how soon can I apply again?

My and my fiance decided to stop the process for personal reasons. I've already found someone else, but we are just in the beginning stages of a relationship, so it will probably be a while before I file again if it works out. Thanks!

So sorry things didn't work for you and your fiance. As a petitioner send a letter to USCIS to formally withdraw your K1 application. State your reason and make it notarized. I doubt if it will be a problem to your future application. GOD bless!!

I am not certain on which address you should send your letter especially those on VSC. I'm sure someone had experience the same. We will wait for further comments from others. Additional info: I assume you dont have case number yet since it still in initial review so instead the case number put on your receipt number; your name as a petitioner and beneficiary's name as well.
