How we did our K2 AOS and EAD packet....

For my son's AOS here is the content of our cover letter:

Chicago Lockbox Address

Dear USCIS,

I am enclosing a I-485, Adjustment of Status of my step-son: Name of my Son

Attached to this letter are the ff. forms:

$ 985.00 Application Fee

Visa Pic of both individuals (petitioner and applicant)

G-1145, E-notification of Application/ Petition Acceptance

I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

G-325A Biographic Information

Copy of Birth Certificates of both individuals (petitioner and applicant)

Copy of Passport of both individuals (petitioner and applicant)

Copy of Visa with date of entry stamp

Copy of I-94

Copy of I-797 Notice of Action

Copy of Marriage Contract

I-864 Affidavit of Support

Copy of my wife's Green card

Copy of my ITR and W2 for 3 yrs. ( From Years: 2009-2011)

Copy of my GI Bill, Retirement Statement, VA Disability Document

Assorted Photographs took here recently in the USA

I-693 Sealed Envelop

Copy of his Birth Certificate

Copy of Marriage Contract

Copy of my wife's Green Card

Visa Pic of both individuals

Note: K2 can't apply for SSN no. the K2 need first to have the EAD card before the parents can apply for the K2's SSN no.

N-400:
May 9, 2017: N-400 packet was sent
May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!
Aug. 09, 2018: Oath Ceremony
