Hello everyone. I have some questions regarding listing a child on the above mentioned forms. Originally when we submitted the I-129F we listed my daughter on the petition. Due to circumstances out of our control and after much consideration and thought, we have decided not to include my daugter as K2 visa. Instead she will stay with my parents here in the Philippines we will provide for her private schooling and all her expenses, then we will petition for her shortly after AOS begins.

On the I-134 affidadit of support it says: "Name of spouse and children accompanying or following to join person" for question 3. The DS-156k Question 5 asks "List name, date and place of birth of all unmarried children under 21 years of age" Then it says "birth certificates of all children listed in number five" must be attached.

Since we are not including my daughter as part of K1, I am asuming we will leave these lines blank? Since my daughter is already listed on I-129F will they already assume that we are

requesting her to follow or accompany as a K2? Will this cause a problem?

I have passed my medical already and have a late september interview.

Thank you in advance, we appreciate any advice.

Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

Take the instructions literally, it is best to follow them exactly as written. They want to know all about all your family, all of the children.

When you get a chance, :time: It helps everyone that uses the forum.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Are you done w your interview? I'll have my interview soon.. Actually the case.. She is not listed under my name on her bc.. She is adopted by my parents.. I think It will look suspicious if I list her then they will find out she's not under my name..
