The past can never be put right so lets leave it in the past and move on....

Kezzie

IMO, they should make sure that all cheese used for their menu selections is Kraft Cracker Barrel--and just keep the name the way it is (well, then it becomes quite apt, eh?)!

I've always thought it was in bad taste to use ethnic slurs in an attempt at humor. It is not really funny.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Should Cracker barrel restaurants change name to 'Cracker and non cracker Barrel'?, Also, serve blacks first to make up for the past where whites were ser. . .

Here's a better question:

Should Matako/Majizee's name be changed to "I AM A FREAKIN' TROLL - IGNORE MY POSTS?"

This is a very serious post, kitkat.

Peeing-jay,

It would help if they did not use a racial name to name their restaurant, which hints that the restaurant is restricted to only one race, consistent with how minorities are treated when they go there. Maybe changing their name to show total inclusion would help.

If that was the case, people wouldn't laugh at Borat and his jokes about Jews, Asians, gays and women.

Perhaps the name "Cracker Barrel" refers to a cracker...you know:

crack·er

n.

1. A thin crisp wafer or biscuit, usually made of unsweetened dough.

edit:fixed broken quote

I should add that to assume they meant the "offinsive" term :

Offensive.

1. Used as a disparaging term for a poor white person of the rural, especially southeast United States.

2. Used as a disparaging term for a white person.

Would place you, in my mind as a troll....

But why could the have not meant :

One that cracks, especially:

1. A firecracker.

2. A small cardboard cylinder covered with decorative paper that holds candy or a party favor and pops when a paper strip is pulled at one or both ends and torn.

3. The apparatus used in the cracking of petroleum.

4. One who makes unauthorized use of a computer, especially to tamper with data or programs.

It would help if you had enough intellect to understand that a cracker is a food that is stored in a barrel. And it might help if you ask your shrink to adjust your meds. Maybe that would help you to get your head straight. Then you will find inclusion in the world of reality.

Get serious or get lost.

Actually, ethnic jokest are the funniest.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

What a publicity stunt..It's people like that who ruin it for black Americans.. Yes the whole organization is to blame because wait staff did not serve them in time..

First of all most Cracker Barrels I have been to have a mix of black and white people working in them..

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.
