sarcasm

I was thinking I could claim the I-130 fee and all NVC fees as a business expenses. After all, I brought a worker here. Nothing better than a hot breakfast in the morning. She spends her days and nights making jewelry for Target and Ross by oppressive U.S. companies.

If things don't work out, I can send her to Rocks in southern MS. and they can walk barefoot to the store together and curse the U.S. govt. on the way there and the way back about the lack of sidewalks.

/sarcasm

Sounds like a legit tax write off to me - it was an overseas investment/expense

I think my pay scale is peanuts compared to the pay scale of Olympic Gold Medal winners.

Right. They should be. My income is taxed as well. As is my performance based bonus. Why should that be different for athletes? Coburn has it right - this proposal is bull.

athletes are a far larger group than olympic medal winners.

The reason we have the huge tax code we have is because of this attitude that its ok to carve out little loopholes for small groups of people/entities.

Bingo! And these carve-outs reduce income tax revenue by approximately $1.2 trillion dollars a year. Compare that to the $1.4 trillion dollars that federal income taxes actually generate.
